Wedding Glass

The Moment……

The formal and legal parts of the wedding ceremony have been
completed….the bride and groom, their family and friends quietly
anticipate the final step ( literally) of the traditional marriage
service. In those few moments after the new Jewish couple sip from a
shared cup of wine, all is quiet. so many different thoughts are being
processed; from lofty to mundane, from light and joyful to serious and
pensive. Then  the crunch of broken glass and gleeful shouts of
Mazel Tov fill the room as the new young couple step out from under the chuppah,
together as husband and wife, among the throngs of well wishers.

As much as this breaking of the glass signals an end it also signals a
beginning…  By using the glass shards to create a keepsake , this
special moment which signals  the start of a beautiful life and partnership,
can be captured in a unique, sentimental and breathtaking manner. Let
us transform the glass from your Jewish Wedding Ceremony into an elegant piece of
Art and/or Judaica by fusing the shards into a mezuzah or frame.
(We can also produce a seder plate, mezuzah or hamsa by special arrangement.)
